Public Notice - Akron Municipal Court Proposes Additions, Reorganization to Its Local Rules

The Akron Municipal Court is amending its local rules to comply with recent amendments to the Ohio Supreme Court’s Rules of Superintendence. Additionally, the Court is instituting several new local rules relating to Case Management, a Technology Plan, the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence, and The Akron Municipal Clerk of Court.
Proposed changes:
The Akron Municipal Court will accept public comments until September 24, 2026. You may submit comments, in writing, on the proposed rule by Thursday, September 24, 2026 to:
