On December 24, all courtrooms will close at Noon. On December 25, December 26, December 31 and January 1, all courtrooms will be closed for the entire day.

Akron Municipal Court Will Be Closed on Thursday, August 12, 2021 Due to Elevator Issues

The Akron Municipal Court is without any of its three public elevators at the present time. This will impact hearings scheduled for Thursday, August 12, 2021.
With the exception of Arraignment Court, those with hearings scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, August 12, 2021 will be contacted next week about rescheduling. Arraignment Court hearings will continue to be held virtually, but all other matters/hearings will need to be rescheduled.
Repairs to the elevators are expected to be completed as soon as possible. We will share a post on the Akron Municipal Court Facebook page when at least one elevator is accessible.
